Who are we?
- Diepsloot Pre Schools Projects look after 20 preschools in Diepsloot and a few others around the country but our focus is on Diepsloot where conditions are very dire. We are a registered NPO 091 -881 and we are also registered as a Public Benefit Organisation which permits Diepsloot Pre Schools Projects to supply letters for BEE purposes as well as Tax certificates. Many of our preschools that we look after are in the squatter camp area and they are not registered so we are try to get them food supplies. We facilitate development of preschools in Diepsloot township, by new buildings, renovations, supplying equipment, training of teachers, structured curriculum workbooks, first aid kits, library books, blankets and mattresses for ‘sleep’ times, annual Christmas party and other outings, etc.. We look to other suppliers to assist with food as our focus is on Early Childhood Development and education.
