Who are we?
- The Blood for the World.Org Organisation is a non-profit Christian based Charity. It's main purpose is to encourage Christians to donate blood on a regular basis, as well as donating money to the organisation for distribution to other Charities. Most Blood banks are striving to increase their numbers of regular donors of 'safe' blood. The most serious threat to 'safe' blood is from AIDS and other blood transmitted diseases. It is felt that as Christians we should be living a life that reflects a certain moral code. This moral code should ensure that our blood is 'safe' for transfer to others. Not all Christians are able to donate 'safe' blood for a number of reasons. We are not here to judge anyone, but would like to challenge other Christians, who can, to donate the gift of life. Christ gave His blood for all of us, to set us free, so let us follow His example and give our blood for the world. Some people tithe money, some people tithe their time and some people tithe both.
