Who are we?
- Blind SA is an organisation of and for the Blind. Our core business is the production of braille, as well as teaching of braille. We are also involved in most other spheres regarding visually impaired people, e.g. education, study bursaries for visually impaired students (tertiary), advocacy, orientation and mobility, career placement. We offer interest-free loans to visually impaired people for the purpose of acquiring assistive devices to enable them to be more self sufficient in the course of daily life, be it at home, school or in the workplace.
