Who are we?

The ACB carries out research, analysis, advocacy and information sharing with key organizations in our network to foster and promote informed engagement with policies and decision making that control production, distribution and access to food and resources. Our work both informs and amplifies the voices of social movements fighting for food justice and food sovereignty in Africa. We are committed to dismantling inequalities in the food and agriculture system in Africa and believe in peoples’ right to healthy and culturally appropriate food produced through ecologically sound and sustainable methods, and their right to define their own food and agriculture systems.
